Welcome and Ni Sa Bula |
This website has been brought to fruition through the concerted efforts of former Grammarians now residing in the US. And as you may have rightly figured out, our former students association is proudly called the Grammarican Lions! "Seek and ye shall find" is synonymous with Suva Grammar and through the years students have sought and found paths that have defined the boys in "safari's grey and girls in their coloured dresses". Yet wherever we are placed, we continue to search for ways and means to uphold the very ideals our former school is known for. Among other things, our website will serve as a forum not only for members but also for our families and friends both here and abroad. It is a medium to promote awareness, understanding and unity in bringing our members together.
Message from our PresidentI am proud to be President of the Grammarican Lions and excited to have the opportunity to continue to impact and help the school through this role. The young men and women that I met during my years at Grammar have become lifelong friends and the experiences we have shared are priceless. The men and women who have walked the halls years before you and I, have always been generous with their time and mentorship to ensure that the Grammar experience continued for the generations that followed. It is now our turn to do the same for generations to come. We live in a changed world, struggling to contribute to the improvement of life and happiness in the midst of turmoil and anxiety. We need to pause and remember the excitement of learning, the joy of discovery and the rewards of giving back. One of the most important thing is that, part of the Suva Grammar history, is YOU,…the numerous alumni scattered all over the world. As President of Grammarican Lions, I extend a special invitation to you to join our alumni, stay connected and take part in our upcoming activities. Wherever your career path has led you, your home will always be “Suva Grammar School”. So in the spirit of the Grammarican Lions - Welcome and Enjoy! - Wallace Ram |
